All-Star1 - If you don't have much in the way of automotive knowledge, you'll likely need to take it to the dealer or an independent shop that can deal with an LR3 (these may not be readily available where you are though). I tend to look at the stealership as no more then a first opinion though - assuming they don't charge outrageous rates for a diagnosis (ask them up front), you might as well have the knowledge. You can always post your findings back here prior to having work done to see if anyone has any helpful advice.... but gathering information should be your first step...
