I ALWAYS tell people that once you have a coolant leak, you should replace everything. Most parts are plastic and deteriorate over time and as soon as 1 part goes, the rest will follow suit over the next year or so. Might as well do everything at once and take the worries out of it.I decided to do the whole 9 yards. I want to keep this vehicle forever and even if the parts are ok now, 89k is a good time to replace with that long term goal. If I was only keeping it another 50k, I would take the cheaper route. I am recording this, might eventually end up on UTube.

If it was me, I'd completely flush out the coolant till it's clear and swap out to dexcool. BTW... that's what I did over 5 years ago. My cooling system has easily gone over 75k miles already without any issues (knocking on wood).
