Tough tires needed

Just bought a 2006 Lr3 and want to toughin it up abit. I will be using it alot in the snow and off road up state NYC. Want alittle larger rim than factory and a good rugged street/ snow off road tire. Any suggestions. i attached what i think i like/Users/jasonvanblaricum/Desktop/Picture 12.png

Larger rim? not if you want rugged, but that is my opinion. Larger rims are for Bling only.

Rugged Street/snow/off road tire... this will bring all kinds of opinions... Just keep in mind Mud tires are not snow tires... and snow tires are not mud tires. The just don't work well doing both. Best to have the one you need more and hope it works well as the other.
