Hi Guys,

I got a major problem with my 95 disco 1, it sollows petrol e.g. around 150 to 200 km per tank.

i have checked all vacuum line, coolent temp sensor, feul rail temp sensor all seems good but i think there is a problem with the vacuum advance unit, hope this is the way to check this unit please correct me if i'm wrong,

Removed the dizzy cap
Removed the vacuum advance unit hose end of the chamber
Sucking the hose by mouth the air comes through but it doesn’t hold vacuum & the Rota arm doesn’t move in any direction.

please let me know is there any other way to check this out ?

in case if this unit is defective is there a fix or its a direct replacement ?????

Appreciate ur advice
Thanks....

Wish I could help, I haven't had to deal with vacuum advance in way too many years.

If you want advice on this, give Nathan a call in my Signature, I am sure he can offer help with this.
