I have just made my first vehicle purchase.
I am now the proud owner of a 1982 Land Rover 109 Trayback. Being an Australian, this Rover is fitted with the Australian spec only 3.9 Litre Isuzu diesel engine.
While all my mates are running around in hatchbacks and fiel efficient shopping trolleys, im chugging along in my truck...and having the time of my life!!.
now, down to business...my heater doesn't work. Heading into summer here i don't really need it, but thought i should get it fixed before i need it.
here's what i know:
- the lever on the dash is not connected to the tap
- the tap is in the "on" position, and appears to be seized there
- there is no evidence of heat. at all.
being new to the pleasures of Land Rover ownership, I'm a little stumped as to what to be looking at, and at this stage I dont have a manual to reach for.
any help would be greatly appreciated...sorry i rambled on
