It's funny this post pops up, as I was going to order a set of MaxTrax from Outback Proven - the same place that sells the Kaymar Rear bumper. These are very handy items.

Any thoughts on which one to get?

A lot of the guys on the forum seem to have the Viair. So I got the 450 model on Amazon. Came with a carry bag that will hold some other small-ish items. Now I need to got flatten a tire so I can play with it.

I have a set of four that I carry on the rack of my d-90. They are great and can be used in many applications whether bridging or for traction. I would suggest that if you "need" them for instance for mud, etc. Then buy four for all of the wheels or to build a long stretch of traction in a tough situation. They are light and easy to mount. I keep them mounted on the rack and use a cable lock to deter theft.
