I just designed an adapter kit for Frameless/standard wiper conversion. Works and looks sweet. here's how this happened:
We have an '06 Range Rover HSE and are on Vancouver Island = rains a lot in winter. Got the RR from the dealer (old wipers and tires) - the "customer" (my wife) complained about wipers streaking. Nothing market fits of course. Got new ones from Atlantic and they are clacking and clunking as they transition from up swipe to down as there is play in the frames. I had to remove one spring just to stop the torture. Then on high speed there was a new clack sound and the performace of the blade is not very good.
To stop the insanity - designed an adpater block, put on the frameless high tech wipers, replaced the springs, sweet strokes and clear!
anyone else with these problems??
