Where does a failing front crossover leak?
If you have the 5.0 V8, yes the fan comes out, the fan drive belt and pulley, the bracket with idler and fan bearing assy., primary belt and tensioner as well. Make sure that you have a new oil cooler pipe and two seals for it that goes behind the water pump. Just finished installing water... -

Rear Pad replacement I just replaced the rear pads on my LR4 last night. The new OEM rear pads are shaped different and so are the pad clips. Thinking that's what LR changed to stop the squelling problem. Not sure I installed the pads correctly or not. Has anyone done their own yet or seen a... -

Ours is at 15k, all pads and rotors look good. Thinking we'll get to 45k with the pads. I don't see a lot of wear on the rotors, just normal scraches. Might be a few thousands deep. Can't tell at this point why they wouldn't go 100k plus. We probably drive highway 70% / 30% city. Pulling... -

Front windshield electric defroster distortion at night
I test drove several and never noticed the little lines. Then probably drove ours a day or two before seeing them. At first I thought that there was no way I'd ever get used to them. Now...I don't even notice them and it's amazing how fast the ice comes off in the winter time... -
