Or maybe I should go with something like a OTC Hub Grappler so I don't have to take the entire thing apart. Downside on that is I wouldn't really be able to use it for anything else. -

So I am getting a press so that I can do my own wheel bearings and ball joints etc. I want to learn how and I also off road pretty hard so I imagine I will be replacing them a lot. I have tried searching to see what bearing race sizes and stuff I would need and I thought I read on a forum post... -

Can low voltage cause trans over heat message?
Was finally able to get to the Rover to diagnose it, it wasnt a trans over heat warning it was the trans fault warning. Clearly related to low voltage. New alternator took care of it and she made the 500 mile trip. -

Thanks for the reply. I had a GAP tool, but recently had a total loss house fire and it was in my garage so I am toolless for now. Sucks. Will certainly be getting another one soon as it was awesome to have. -

I will try to keep this kind of short. But a lot of things happened around the same time. Rover sat for about a month as the front pump seal was leaking and I didn't have time to mess with it. Had the transmission front pump seal replaced at a shop. Picked up the rover and drove about 20... -

Thank you for the quick reply. I am nervous because of the timing of this, it seemed to have happened when I broke the cv axle. Should I be concerned about internal damage to the transmission? -

I also saw some fluid here, but was unable to see where it came from. I have wiped it all down to see where more comes from if it hasn’t all leaked out yet. -

It looks like my transmission is leaking and it appears there is a small hole. Is that hole supposed to be there? I was off roading and my front left cv axle broke, I am curious what else could have gotten messed up. I can provide more pictures or details please just let me know. Any help...
