I’m guessing nobody has created a write up for pulling the engine yet? With the body on that is? I’m sure Ill be able to figure it out but it’s always those tips and tricks that make the job go so much smoother- Bassist169

Thanks guys for such rapid replies! I definitely remember the shop saying that there was no compression. I remember getting all of the flashing lights at once and losing power and immediate pulling to the shoulder and it was smoking. The temp gauge has been in the green until that point. This is what happens if you don’t listen to your LR4
I recently had a coolant leak issue but it wasn't the pump or the front crossover... it was the one in the rear... a PITA to get to!! I should probably replace the front one and the water pump if it hasn't already been done. I was constantly putting distilled water in it until the part came in...- Bassist169

Thanks for the tip, I’ve already taken it out once to see if the float was working but for swapping out the sensor I think I can probably tackle that in like 5 min going at it through the headlight opening. The fact that they just pop out with two clips after removing the front fascia makes...- Bassist169

2010 lr4 coolant leak (Can’t Find) please help!!!
Already ordered one on amazon for 8$ shipped and will hopefully be here in a couple days. The videos make it more complicated than needed though. Easiest way to get extra space to move that expansion tank around and get to everything is to simply pop out the DS headlight!!!- Bassist169

Update: so I was able to get my Audi mechanic to source the part for me from his supplier for much less than anywhere online and was able to get it the next day. Went ahead an installed it and there is no leak but now I'm still having a low coolant warning!?!?! the tank is staying completely...- Bassist169

That video was so helpful! Appreciate you posting it. I have had a leak that has gotten worse over time and after checking the usual culprits up front I knew it was coming from somewhere else. Yeah, I see what you guys are saying. I suppose the one below it actually offers protection but is very similar to what is available here. Hey Guys, I was wondering if anyone had a custom brush guard or bull bar built for their LR3/LR4 and if so who you used?
