Living up to its unreliable history
This is pretty much my advice as well (in bold). I've had 2 reoccurring issues with my LR4: - the gas gauge is not very reliable under 1/8th of a tank. I've run out of gas three times with the dash telling me I have between 7-10 miles left. - I'm on my third or fourth water pump. Not... -

Heated Steering Wheel won't turn on
I have a 2012 LR4 and the steering wheel heater works sometimes but not others. I turned it on and off a few times back in August and the temp in the car was 90+ and it worked fine. Now that it's snowing (literally, right now in Hartford) it doesn't work. But it might work next week . . . -

2016 LR4 ran out of gas, how to clear CEL?
I read somewhere it was 50 ignition cycles.
