FS: Brembo brake Calipers and new pads for L322 Range Rover

Selling Brembo calipers (rebuilt with new seals) and new Centric posi-quiet brake pads. These are an easy bolt on upgrade for an L322, they bolt right to the spindle no problem. Only need the rotors, dust shields, and clips to make the conversion complete...

    Cowl Trim replacement

The cowl on my '05 was very warped, but instead of buying/installing a new cowl, I went to Home Depot and got some black weather-sealer Caulk for glass and filled in the gap between the glass and cowl. Seems to work so far.

    Resetting Brake Pad Light?????

wow... you do realize that the sensors cost around $15 each and are easily installable yourself? You literally pull the tip out of the brake caliper (sits in a gap on the top of the pads that accessible through the opening in the caliper) and follow the cable till you see the disconnect (front...

    Brake Pad Choices?

Wow, good to know. Yah, I actually went though both front and rear sets of EBC pads in about a year. Took me by surprise when I started to feel the grinding. What kind of material are the pepboys platinum? ps, BBLR3, how do you like your ISF? It's on my list of cars to look at along with the...

    Brake Pad Choices?

I'd highly recommend the EBC green stuff pads. They're a bit dusty and squeak a little bit when warmed up, but I notice a firmer pedal and slightly quicker stopping. Also, it's best to stick with the OEM LR rotors. They're actually sourced from brembo, good quality stuff. The other's I've tried...

    Steel/Any Wheels/Offroading Tires/AirSuspension LIfts

Hey Brett, yah, I think I might go down for a day. I plan on getting new all terrains soon and taking that god forsaken hitch off, even if I have to drill it myself. Just worried about breaking something with the truck now having high miles and out of warranty. One thing's for sure, I definitely...

    Older LR3's / Transmission update

jjvd21, yah thats right. Forget to mention that if truck is still under warranty, they'll do it for free. If not, then they charge.

    Steel/Any Wheels/Offroading Tires/AirSuspension LIfts

The difficulty is trying to integrate the locking diff with the electronics. If you had the correct LR computer system thing, like a fault mate, you could go into the electronics and activate it, or at the very least, mess with the software. In all honesty though, the terrain response does a...

    Older LR3's / Transmission update

I believe mine was $75 when I had it down last year. It's either a 30min or 1hr labor charge.

Trade up to an 09 HSE Lux or wait for LR4?

I was in the same boat as you a few months ago. Was about to pick up an '09 rr sport supercharged but then test drove a 2010 sport hse for the hell of it. I was really surprised at how many improvements they made, drives like a completely different truck. In road tests, the new hse's are even...

Trade up to an 09 HSE Lux or wait for LR4?

Wait for the LR4, the 5.0 engine and interior are worth it.

    HSE nav question.

I'm pretty sure there's a separate light sensor just for the nav screen, not connected to the headlights. It dims whenever it begins to get dark outside, regardless if the headlights are on.

    Steering play?

I have the same thing at low speeds, it's very subtle. The dealer just replaced my entire steering rack 5k miles ago (for different reasons) so I'm pretty sure that's just how they are. Although, I'm thinking it might be my alignment and very worn tires.

Looking to buy LR3 - a few questions

Bane, my '05 LR3 has had all of that work done on it too. My list is nearly identical except for the air cond. compressor and air suspension stuff. I also had most of the same stuff changed at the same mileage as well. I had an ext. warranty though so it only cost me the $100 deductible for...
