Anyone have any idea if this is a cause for concern? Suspension issue.

"21" L405 SV Autobiography Dynamic. Noticed the front left shock was lit up orange versus the others. Car is on a level surface in my garage with the engine running, wheels straight, nothing unusual. It was in access mode at the time. I raised the car to normal mode and to off-road mode and...

L405 rear end vibration like an out of balance wheel...but it's not

As a follow up from the engineers at JLR, they are aware of the problem that exists with the L405 body vibration at certain speeds but are unwilling to pursue it any further. It is operating within "spec". So there you have it folks. Great vehicle, just don't drive it between 73-85 without...

L405 rear end vibration like an out of balance wheel...but it's not

I have no idea what they've considered (or haven't for that matter) but it's worth a shot at this point. If I used the truck for mostly city or short suburban driving you would never know. Unfortunately it gets a decent amount of highway "trip" time and it's almost annoying as the dealer...

L405 rear end vibration like an out of balance wheel...but it's not

Hi guys, I have an issue that is driving me nuts. 2021 L405 SV Autobiography Dynamic Holyoke edition here. Has anyone had any issues with what feels like a rear wheel out of balance? Here's what we know so far and what we've done: Starts around 73mph and remains until 85ish. It's a pretty...

    Metal coolant plumbing for LR4?

My neighbor (and drinking buddy) is the regional director here in the midwest of all the JLR dealers. Service and Parts mgrs all report up to him. As such, you'd be surprised the level of service I get when he greases the skids for me. :)

Anyone care to admit this was them? Off the edge of a cliff and recovery from Matt's Offroad Recovery.

All good points. Yeah, I was thinking he fell from the same spot Matt found to be really tight for the wrecker, but maybe higher.

    Metal coolant plumbing for LR4?

Safe advice, yes. I stuck with OEM as well the last time I had it done but of course in my searching I found those. I even showed the LR dealer and they thought it would be a worthy alternative, offering to install them like they would the OEM parts.

Anyone care to admit this was them? Off the edge of a cliff and recovery from Matt's Offroad Recovery.

I've been watching Matt since they were Winder Towing and it seems as though they used to do mostly simple recoveries. Over the years I think they've had to up their game in order to gain and keep more subs. Obviously things have gotten more dangerous but he always seems (to the untrained eye)...

Yes, I didn't even pay attention to the LR3/4. And I agree, built like a tank, but we all knew that. Matt made the comment about how heavy the truck was and one of the other guys said something like "7,000 lbs of British steel". Not quite, but I get it.

    Nickname for LR4?

Confused. Why would they bleep out P-A-S-T-Y?

The Quest for A Durable Front Crossover Pipe

Not sure if this was brought up earlier in this thread only because I don't feel like going through 11 pages of comments :) but the next time my crossover pipes need to be replaced my dealer said they would gladly replace them with these. I haven't done a ton of research on them since I just...
