Actually, turns out I had the amk style compressor. My firmware was saying that the software installed was hitachi, but when looking at the compressor, it was without doubt the amk. -

UPDATE: Issue solved. It ended up being the temperature sensor that's connected to the compressor. BUT, when I tried to replace the temp sensor, it cleared the code, but then threw a SOLVED. C1A27-12 - Compressor Circuit - Circuit Short to Battery code, think I might've shorted the relay. But... -

Yeah—I have a feeling it's something very similar. The intermittent come and go of the fault while driving initially definitely had me wondering if it was just some bad connection. After more research and diagnoses, it seems like it's an electrical fault and the wire that connects the sensor is corroded or shorted. The fault will show up by just turning the ignition on (not engine), which is a direct indication that it's an electrical fault. The code provides that clarity... -

I think I might have a small coolant leak somewhere, but can't trace it. All coolant work was done within the last 6 months by LR indy—rear+ front pipes, water pump, thermostat housing, hoses etc. No dripping on the floor, and not noticing any sweet smell either. Coolant loss was very minimal... -

Looks like it's going to need a new supercharger coupler—bummed I didn't know about this when I did the rear and front crossovers, but you live and learn. I'll know for my next rover. Anything else recommended to get done while that supercharger is out? Already completed: Front + Rear... -

That’s a good shout. Crossovers (rear and front), waterpump, thermostat, belts etc were all done as soon as I got it. Wish I’d known about the supercharger coupler… but alas, having a blast learning about these vehicles as I go. -

Correct they are on the newer design, but I do believe the tensioners can still go around 90K... but nothing really guide wise or chains unless left and poor OCI's
