Another Defender hint?
The D5 isn't a bad looking SUV but it doesn't stand out like the LR4 does. Some people may like having a luxury car that doesn't draw attention but I'd take the one that stands out 100% of the time.- DWillyEffect

I get that. The interior is nice, couldn't they have just shoved that in the old body style and made a few tweaks to that to conform to all of the rules and regulations of today? I can't decide if I should love it for what it is or hate it for what it could have been. It's a good looking SUV for 2019. When you put some accessories on it, it does look pretty good. To be successful the way it should be: -It has to be able to take aftermarket bumpers and rock rails -You have to be able to lift it to fit larger tires -You have to have decent wheels that allow you to have an option of tires.- DWillyEffect

I agree. I'm cautiously optimistic about this product but it seems like Land Rover has abandoned their roots. I'd argue the Discovery and the Range Rover are poor products for a diesel engine. It's an upscale car. I don't think that market will trade the convenience of gas for the range of Diesel. If I could get a diesel, that would be fine. I'm sure there will be a EGR delete for it at some point. I'm sure some European countries and a few of the California cities are all in on it. Is there one? It seems like every major company is. I don't think electric is particularly reliable, especially offroad. I like gas engines and I love diesel engines.
