Dealer shared with me every 7k would be fine...however, he said that the contis on the LR4s have been wearing well...stated it would be fine to wait till the next annual service.- eaglerover

I agree...been on the beach in outer banks all week...there is a significant difference between airing down to 18 to 20 psi and airing down to just 30 psi in soft sand. LR4 HSE LUX or Tahoe LTZ???????
I will jump in on the gas mileage....with now close to 1700 miles I am getting 17.7...I don't have a heavy foot, but I did not go into my first land rover thinking I could get this kind of mileage...I absolutely love this truck...I've also never had as much confidence in a truck...was on some...- eaglerover

Can I leave my iPod plugged in (to the land rover cable in the console), or do I need to unplug it whenever I am not driving? Picked up a cable for $65 bucks online (plus $11 for shipping) from Land Rover Rocklin. Thanks- eaglerover

Dumbells under the rear of the '11 LR4
I was under the rear of the truck yesterday installing a hitch and noticed what looked like two 25 lb dumbells located above the frame of the bumper on both sides. Does anyone know what purpose these serve? Seems like a lot of extra weight and not sure what they are there for.- eaglerover

Attaching iPod to inside top of center compartment (velcro)?
Checkout LR Rocklin online...they sell the cable for $65 and it will go out that day. They don't take credit cards through the website, but you can still place the order through the site and they will call you for the cc.- eaglerover
