I recently got into a wreck in my LR4 and don’t plan on buying another in the near future so I’m selling the Bluetooth player I bought at the beginning of the year. If you’re not familiar with it, it just plugs into the iPod connection and connects to your phone through bluetooth. Also allowing...
So I took my LR4 to the dealer today for an alignment and they told me my front LCA bushings were “blown out” and I needed new tie rods in the back. This would come with a price tag of $3400. Here’s the kicker though.. i replaced my bushings (that they’re saying are bad) not even 20k miles ago...
Haha yeah it was loose at first but I popped it off and smacked it back in and now it’s in pretty tight. I will say another questionable thing safelite did was not plugging in the plug on the mirror for the dimmer, headlights, and wipers. But it was fairly easy to pop off the covers and fix it.
I had mine done oem out of pocket from safelite and since the mobile technician called out of work on 2 of my appointments they gave me $200 off to come to the actual shop and have it done. They reused the old pillar mouldings and cowl :/. But I got out only paying $800.
Hardly any actually. I’m probably just having bad luck with alignments. I may have to start with a fresh set and take it down to Land Rover Chattanooga and let them work on it.
It was aligned after the lift but I’m thinking that it’s probably already out again. I had to take it to a normal tire shop for the alignment because my dealer said they won’t do alignments on lifted LR4s. But that’s to be expected since Land Rover Nashville doesn’t care about anyone unless...
It was aligned when the tires were put on and then here recently a month or so ago. But even with this recent one it feels that it may already be out of alignment again.
This is actually where they’re at now. They were installed at 143000 and the cars now at 155000. Maybe some bad apples? But I suppose I wasn’t expecting all that for a tire with no tread wear warranty.
I'm looking for the original ride height sensor rods for my LR4. It’s has lift rods in it now and I’d like to have it back at regular height but don’t have the original rods. If anyone has an old set they don’t need or knows where to find them it would be appreciated!
While these tires look great, they have terrible tread life. Mine don’t even have 15000 miles on them and I’m already getting harassed at the tire store that I “need” new ones.
My 2010 would go off every morning for months and it ended up being the sensor in one of my back doors. I figured it out when the door open message began to flash on then back off every once in a while when I drove it. Simply sprayed some WD 40 in and around the latch hole to clean up the...
My LR4 is a little over 150k miles and so I’m wanting to have the transmission service done. Do I need to have the fluid flushed and the filter changed or would it be fine to just have it flushed?
This thread is kind of old now but if anyone else stumbles across this I had a similar issue with the Bovee 1000. It would only stay connected with my console lid open so I figured it was the connection going into the plug there. To fix it I simply popped out the usb/iPod port and unplugged the...
