Rear Mount High Lamp Assembly-What kind of Sealant
Land Rover glues the plastic to the metal as if it were a windscreen - another one of their not so good ideas. It has been suggested that your go to a windshield repair shop and have them do it. -

After crawling around under the LR for an hour the location of the missing heat shield was not determined. So I called my local independent LR garage and they put another LR3 up on a lift. Then we found where my shield came off. It is the heat shield that goes next to the front muffler... -

Houm, all the dealer could offer was the same illustration shown in the eBay ad. I'll look it up on the site you suggested. roverman, it made lots of noise when it fell off. It has three mounting points and a clip that might go into the chassis. It 100 degrees F here and I didn't really... -

Brake pads that work well when cold
I installed Wagner Thermo-Quiet Ceramic pads. They are a little expensive but very little dust and they grab right away, hot or cold. -

Where does this heat shield go?
A couple of weeks ago a heat shield fell off from some where on the bottom of our LR3 We retrieved the old one from the road, was able to read the part number, and order a new one. However, the local LR dealer does not know where the shield is to be mounted. Could anyone on this forum help... -

Disabling interior lights turing on when you open a door
Thanks umbertob. I knew the center button would turn off the interior lights but I never knew that they could be reset to go on or off. It's not anywhere in the manuals that I have seen. All of these tricks should be posted in a sticky. Thanks again. -

3rd Brake Light
The high mount brake light on my LR3 is coming loose. Any ideas on how the secure it before it falls off? It is loose on one side and I can push it back into place with a lot of force but it does not stay in place. Thanks -
