    Wow, thanks Jwest for taking so much trouble to respond, I appreciate the detail. Yes keeping the spare in rotation was not something I had been doing. In fact the spare tire is the original and does not match the others.

    I had the same issue, only on the passenger side. Took it in and they fixed it while I waited. They never did say what the problem/fix was.

    Yes drill it out. I've changed out my rails several times and always add a little lithium grease when re-installing the bolts.
