My symptoms seem to have changed slightly. On the freeway right when I let of throttle I feel a brief rumble/vibration through the pedal. I also notice a similar feeling at low speeds at partial throttle/light acceleration.- heidenseek

The noise is only present on throttle but does not change with the amount of throttle input.- heidenseek

jwest - could you describe the symptoms of your bad half-shafts? I have a growling/grinding noise in my 08 LR3 SE that starts around 25 mph. It does not change much with speed or rpm increase.
