If the fuses are good, I would look look to see if they connected it all the way under the inside pillar covers. I had the same issue and they just didn’t seat the electrical connectors all the way.
The OEM slider locks in place which is nice. You squeeze the handle and it unlocks as you pull.
It easily removes so if I want to use the seats I can without unbolting anything.
I wish it had a channel down the middle as well as the front and back. I could always add one because the board is...
Well it finally happened, boot wouldn’t open and I was stuck working from the inside.
1. Watched the online help videos
2. “Created” a tool to help.
3. Got it opened
4. Replaced actuator
5. Built a DIY pull release so I never have to do it again. (Although it probably won’t ever happen...
I have a friend who has been thinking about purchasing a LR4. He finally sat in mine recently and with the seat all the way back it’s still not enough room. The missing datapoint: he’s 6’7”.
Is there any option to get him more room so he fits nicely?
The handle releases a locking mechanism that keeps it from sliding. There are 3 spots that it can lock into. It is mechanical and tightens 2 wires on each side contracting locking pins.
