no oil leaks currently. the oil filter housing did leak onto the original alternator and eventually killed it. i had a new alternator installed a few months back. i'm wondering if it is bad but unsure how to test it other than what i did this morning.
test results below.
with LR4 off battery tested at 12.27 volts
with LR4 running battery bounced between 13.00-14.42 volts even when the idle was higher at start up

coincidently, the misfire on cylinder three just came back on my engine. i'm going to have it looked at as soon as i can. but, looks like a new remanned engine is in my near future.
the K-Seal fix/bandaid lasted 7 months. not bad, i suppose.

it was a broken wire in the loom that runs near the rear left wheel well. wire is repaired and all is good. black wire with a green stripe.
