I would assume your PS fluid level has been consistent? If you haven't had to top it up then I wouldn't worry about it. As far as I know, the rack isn't serviceable so i would leave it be until either it starts leaking or your steering is affected. -

I'm thinking that because the joint was seized that the shaft entering the rack was deflecting and therefore causing fluid to leak between the shaft and the seal.
