Octane used in 2013 LR2?
I just bought a new 2013 LR2.. It replaced my 2008 LR@ that I was very pleasede with for 127,000 miles. The 2013 has a 4 cylinder, supercharged engine, while my 2008 had a 6 cylinder.. The 2013 LR2 says I have to use higher octane gas.. I have been using mid grade so far wioth no issues.. Can...- Jschneiter

2008 LR2 Key Remote issues
That happened to mine on my 2008 LR2.. I switched the one I use everyday with the second fob which was very rarely used.. no more problems..- Jschneiter

Park Brake fault
I had this happen.. Water got into it and the dealer advises that it is my fault, not a warranty repair.. Just now.. This switvh and the decent control swith and the parts are over $600.. With the knowledge about where the front is, I was able to peek between the plastic pieces in front and based on what I know the unit looks like in my LR2, was able to guess about where the lock was and where the button is to get the disc to eject. I stopped by the dealership, they said they would put the new disc in for free.. but I'm going to try to do it again today.. as I now understand that it is a "blind feel". OK.. I got a flash light & could not see any buttons at all... I DID find the drive, but no way to get it open... On my LR2, the disc drive faces aft, so when you move the seat forward, it's obvious..not so on the LR3. I plan on stopping at the dealership today to ask them to show me how it...- Jschneiter
