Ha ha no spare nuts. Those were for the spare which was dropped off at a shop awaiting a new tire when I took that.
The security key (do you mean wheel lock key?) was temporarily tucked in a socket set of mine awaiting return of said spare.
And sadly I did not discover the alignment bolt while...
It's funny. I think our 2012 GC was a great vehicle the 8-9 years we had it.
I LOVE our new Defender and the tech is decent, but I have one complaint.
Unless I'm too stupid to figure it out I believe there's no way to link the keys to the memory seats. So unlike the Jeep when I walk up and...
Well, happily sitting at my desk this morning with the kids getting ready to log into school meets when the wife calls "g@#$_ Defender got a flat" and she was late for sign-out at the hospital.
So I threw the kids in the Jeep, grabbed a breaker bar and some sockets and ran out to meet her.
Now...
To be clear I'm not complaining about the power on the P400.
I must confess I toyed with an STI at a light/highway entrance yesterday and it was entertaining.
Yup ours is a 7 seater too. But luckily we didn't need them completely flat this trip.
I'll file that away for reference but can't see me every loading this beast up THAT much to have to do that.
We took our first real road trip in our Defender this week. I'm liking it more and more. It's the right combination of comfort and capability.
We packed for a ski/board week with room to spare, got there in comfort, dealt with foul weather easily.
Looking forward to more trips and more rugged...
I'm having a problem picturing where they go. Maybe a photo would help.
Also, and I don't want to assume anything so forgive if it's too basic a question. But are you saying you don't know the bolt size and thread pitch or you do and you just can't find something the right length and style that...
Bummer.
Yeah we ordered ours over the summer and picked it up in October.
We were able to get everything (active differentials and terrain response 2 etc.) with the more road biased tires on black 19" wheels.
I think the tow package was connected to the active diffs or maybe it was just too...
The "off-road" pack is really just the active differential and the off-road tires.
You get (at least by the SE trim level) all the active terrain response, air suspension, and other features.
So if, like us, you wanted the active differential but not the off-road tires (which you can always...
For the record your can get the active diff separate from the off-road pack of you want.
We didn't want the off-road tires for predominantly on-road use but still wanted a capable truck when we needed it.
So we were careful what we picked and chose when we ordered it.
I don't have anything too relevant to say except that blue is gorgeous.
We have had our new P400 in Green for a bit over a month and I love it (though I don't get to drive it all that much).
Hope to convince the wife to follow me down some forest trails soon or I'll have to wait for the next...
