Rear door frame rust - driver/passenger sides
I did remove the bottom trim and found more rust. Sanded it down and covered it over as best I could with a rust paint called POR-15...it should buy me some time. I could have reduced the rust if I cleaned the trim out occasionally. -

It is pretty big - Yes they do salt the roads and also use a brine spray before it snows. -

UPDATE: Today I was able to take the truck to the dealer here to see about servicing and see the drainage specialist. Also I was inquiring about the last servicing - as this was a previously owned vehicle and at 78,000 km. The fellow had called and said that it was fixed and it was a leak... -
