I have test drove the Toyota Landcruiser (Prado), Lexus GX, Ford Bronco, Jeep Wrangler 392, and Land Rover Defender 110 (P400). I have to say that the Defender has something that the others don't. Can't really name it but it's just that draw. Maybe bc I've been with LRs for the last 20+ years...
The D5 TD6 is not too bad. Friends wife had one and we used to borrow it on weekends to toodle around. I heard that the Discovery line was up for a refresh soon. Maybe they will follow the trend and go back to the boxier look.

Cancelled my order. Great concept but the ending price was more than what I was willing to pay. The new Land Cruiser has piqued my interest though.

My daily work commute is 29 miles one way mostly on highways. On board computer states avg mpg as 19.2-21.0 However, manual calculation indicates 18.0-19.0 avg. 2015 LR4 SCV6 on 18's and 255/65/18 ATs.
Also, the fuel tanks are so small for this type of vehicle imho. A few more gallons would...

Yeah the choices were limited in the "skinny" tire field. However, now I am gonna look into the sidewall stiffness since you brought it up. Thanks.

Looking to get "pizza cutter" tires for the 2015 LR4. Has anyone had experience with the General Grabber ATx 255/70/18. If not, any other "skinny" tires you have used and recommend. Thank you.
