OEM Hitch Receiver Pin doesn't seem to be engaging all the way?
Clean out the whole area where the receiver goes, especially the hole where the main pin engages in to with a bit of emery/sand paper. Spray the whole area including hole with lube. Take just the LR receiver and line it up square in the mount and firmly push it up to engage. Using your finger... -

2020 defender off road pack - rear locker
We are lucky in Canada as we have only have 15yr rule. Southern european 200 or 300 tdi is the way to go if your state allows. Way better gas mileage/range and still fine for 70mph cruising. $35 - 45 U.S. ish ? plus a bit of refurb.. obviously a crude drive compared modern defender.- PWD2

2020 defender off road pack - rear locker
Or an old defender and put Ashcroft lockers in. A lifted 90 on 33s 255/85/16 with lockers gets you to a lot of places. If you want to sleep in the back or carry gear, a 110 is nearly as good.- PWD2

Thoughts on 2021 Bronco as LR4 replacement?
Interesting contrast with the folks who go off road and want an accessible full size spare instead of the failure prone PITA underslung winch system. Only topped by the ridiculous $700 failure prone tow hitch. Guess that's why i bought a 90 too.. Bronco looks interesting. Hard to beat lr3/4s... -

Leaving the hood / bonnet open overnight for rats.

Im on my second LR hitch, an lr4 one. I had lr3 one previously. Complete garbage in my opinion. Do not leave on the vehicle for any length of time as they can be hard to get off. Even only installing it when towing and lubricating mine with graphite lock lubricant it takes some banging to get it... -
