After reading the comments in this thread I'm seriously reconsidering my decision to put my 2013 LR4 up for sale.
When I first purchased it (I'm the original owner) I thought I would keep this truck forever as a third vehicle. So I purposely did all the maintenance early, did my own oil changes...
Okay, here goes...
The G has a special place in my heart. As a young man in the late 80's when they were only available in the grey market, I saw one driving on the highway into NYC at a time when I wanted a Jeep. I just loved everything about. Probably the same way some love the Defender. In...
I can send you a private message with my thoughts. I've owned 3 (diesel SWB grey market, US spec '02 and '05) and used to be very active in the G community. I don't want to clutter this thread with too many side conversations that others may not appreciate.
Perhaps I'm not comprehending what MBW posted..??
He's listing updated part numbers and the corresponding VIN #'s. So my VIN is outside the TSB as noted in the PDF but I don't necessarily have all the updated parts per MBW's post. Correct me if I'm wrong...
GSXR - The LR4 is a 3rd vehicle...
I'm still a little confused between the pdf TSB and what MBW posted.
I have a '13 with a DA658XXX . So it's outside of the PDF TSB but potentially within certain parts being updated??
I was thinking of keeping this truck (I've owned it since new) because it's fully loaded with an HD package...
There’s been a few tire threads and the Goodyear Duratracs always come up as a possible option. Some love them, others have mixed opinions but most agree that the tire is loud once it gets a little older. Well, I was one of those that complained about the noise...My 2013 LR4 w/HD package gets...
I can only speak to the Goodyear Duratracs. While they perform well, after 15K miles they are extremely noisy. To the point where I plan to change them out even though they still have plenty of thread left. Anyone who says they are quiet, either has a super noisy car already or the tires are...
I purchased the whole APT armor kit direct from Australia. Amazingly it all arrived at my door in 5 days. that's quicker then any shipment I ever received from Atlantic British which always takes 7-10 days. Anyway, the whole kit was about $3K Australian dollar which is about $2K USD. I don't...
off the top of my head...the timing belt tensioner issue is gone (potentially catastrophic) and the navigation is hard drive based (faster) versus DVD.
Yes, I have the Duratracs too and they're probably the most aggressive tires in the stock size. If you're going bigger you'll have other options. My only complaint after 27K miles is that they very loud for my taste. They were only slightly louder than the Cooper's I had previously but now with...
Since you've been doing some research, I'm assuming you're familiar with the GAP IDtool. That can achieve what you want. There is another another (although my memory is failing me) that has a dial in the cabin where you can dial in the height and leave it there. The Gap tool is more expensive...
