LR4 Engine Noise Opinions WANTED!
the 5W-30 vs 0W-20 debate is a tough one. Im about to cross 190K on my 2013 and going to 5w-30 in metro nyc area seems like a no brainer Hard not to think if all these cars had 5w-30 from day 1 they wld have done much better with the riduculous 15K intervals that they were calling for in those...- ttforcefed

Coolant pipe replacement every 5 years on V8?
Had a conversation with someone who works extensively on the V8s. his view is whether you use plastic or aluminum pipes you shld replace them every 5 years on the v8 and his view is the aluminum don't offer any real benefit. thoughts?- ttforcefed

2016 LR4 Coolant Leak 50k miles (tstat, water pump, front pipe)
OK a buddy's 2016 was pressure tested and is leaking coolant from the thermostat, water pump and front pipes. I advised him to do pcv valve and vacuum pump while they're at it, and to use metal pipes from Lucky8 where available. Any other suggestions while they're doing this? The rear y pipe...- ttforcefed
