My brother just went through 2 of these in less than 3k miles, both oem.
Total coolant loss both times. It heated up and failed twice.

Only use coolant to lubricate the o-ring.
Also, make sure there's none of the old pieces left in the port.

I've never had one fail but this is one of those niche LR parts that I keep a spare on-hand because if it goes out and you're not near a dealer, you're stuck. They're cheap so I keep one in the glovebox.

Pretty sure my tech found a metal aftermarket one that much better
