I am looking through the mechanics manual and I see 2 expansion valves, one in the front and one in the rear.
Seems to me that as both zones are blowing hot, that simultaneous failure of both...

Always and forever, OEM parts only, with very few exceptions - one being possibly being that little elbow.
I did not change belts at 50K, they looked like brand new, maybe I should have ?
I did not change tensioners either.
My grandfather always too her out on a back road and opened her up.

Would need to be accomplished through the intakes, I am not taking it any farther apart than necessary.
I may be able to do the crossovers - but at the end of the day I am only a reasonably capable...

And a small puddle of coolant on the garage floor - feels and tastes like coolant.
And I can see that tell tale bit of yellow coolant (under UV) when looking way down...
If they replaced the water pump in 2021, then it's the new Rover pump and design - unlikely that is the source.

Yes! Replace all plastic bits every 40-50K !
I have no personal experience with the Aluminium replacements.
With a leak as shown, I would not be driving that anywhere!
Many locations for a leak "on the front of the engine"
My 2013 was at the oil cooler tube - if you have a factory original...
