IDIOT OF THE WEEK!!!!!!!! One should pay attention to whether their system is DVD based or CD based. I unfortunately did not do this, therefore I am the IDIOT OF THE WEEK!!!!!!! I purchased CD's for my DVD based nav system and now must hope the kind fellow that sold them to me will take them... -

Nope. I mean 8 discs. I have discs 5 & 6 which cover the midwest & ohio valley, New England and the mid-atlantic states. I'm going to try the mid-atlantic states tomorrow and I'll let you know how they work. I just hope it doesn't take away my hack. -

The 2 discs I have say 2007.1 ; S0003-0116-710 Copyright of 2007 Land Rover Map Data It also has the "NAVTEQ ON BOARD" Logo. These discs are broken up into 8 discs covering the US and Canada -

Thanks grommet. I may be ready to bite the bullet now. One other strange thing about the 2007.1 discs. Looking at the Abstract file on the discs, states that the disc was made by CARIN VDO DAYTON. VDO DAYTON is a subsidiary of Siemens that make navigation equipment and maps for European... -

I have a couple of 2007.1 Map Data discs and they are not showing the loading.kwi file. Even the 2004 disc that came with my MY06 RR did not have the .kwi file. With the 2004 disc can I use the hack but I don't want to take the chance with these new discs if it upgrades the nav but take away... -

I'm sure that I could but I'd like to find it for a bit less than the $200 it lists for through the dealer before going that route,- vq6shadow

RSE Remote
Does anyone have a clue where I could get a replacement remote for the RSE (Dual Screen) for a 2006 RR HSE? My dealer experience has not been positive and I'd rather not have to deal with them. Any ideal on the part number I need to look for? Thanks- vq6shadow
