My dealer included the cable on my new 2011 RR Sport - not sure if it comes with the car or the dealer just threw it in for me.- xtian666

From my research it looks like this is a poor implementation of the iAP, the Apple Accessory Protocol that auto manufactures use. If this is the case then a software update could fix the disabling of the UI. I'm a pesimis so I don't hold out hope for any significant software update for the...- xtian666

iphone 4 compatability
I just got a 2011 RRS which as both an iPod connector and a USB connector. The ipod connector works with my iPHone 4, but it disables the iPhones iPod UI forcing you to use the vehicles terrible touch screen UI. The USB connector doesn't seem to work at all with the iPhone :-(- xtian666
