Thanks! I actually cheaped out on the spare. Was hoping to sell my 19's and then pick up the 5th. GAP tool. You gotta get one. It's a diagnostic tool that plugs into your OBD port and reads faults/codes and allows all sorts of customization via a smartphone app. You can read about it all over...
Loving my Compos and Grapplers!
Question: been playing around with GAP tool. There appear to be several parameters in there related to tire size. Can anyone confirm which parameters to adjust and what values based on tire size?
They’re on! It’s Ridge Grappling time. I got some discounts they had at America’s Tire. The sales guy looked at me all funny when I declined TPMS. Then he questioned if I was certain I could disable it. I said don’t worry about. Just balance ‘em. Now, admittedly this is just a cosmetic review at...
Just doing a little creek bed crawl test. Awaiting new Ridge Grapplers but they’ve been hung up some where.
It’ll be tires, then some recovery gear to cover the basics for getting out there.
Hey. Looking for a molle panel as well. Unfortunately my “friends” are all the Yota folk and they seem to have endless vendors supplying all manner of accessories. Much tougher for us. I really like the molle rear window panels in the cargo area they get but doesn’t appear such a creature exists...
The reason is the sticker in the door jam applies to the size and load rated tire from the mfr. A 255/55/19 is going to support different weights at different pressures than a 275/70/18. So to be super-precise about it, there exist load tables, such as what I was referring to above. The tables...
I've used this resource in the past. It may or may not be helpful but has lots of good info:

Looks awesome! Nice. If anyone is shopping Nittos, Discount Tire just started a flash sale for $110 off/set of 4. Looks to be good on Ridge and Terras:

Wow that's rough. Sorry to hear. Can I ask about your decision? Just curious why, if you're otherwise satisfied with the truck, you didn't want to take it to the specialist shop to get to the root of the problem? Sure it was going to cost some money in diagnostics, but then you would have...
Thanks. Yep I knocked out the side markers already! Big change with my red and black. So that had me considering the black tail lights. Do you have a link for what you used?
Nice thanks for the tip. While I've wiped down the hard surfaces, admittedly I hadn't thought about carpeting under the mats. I'll try that, and keep all the windows open. The baking soda didn't do much...
Oooooh that does sound mean. True it’s not everyone’s taste but I agree after a few days with mine, and coming from a 6.2l AMG motor, it’s way too quiet for the power it’s making. I was considering those magna packs to replace the
Mufflers but leaving everything else stock. You think that would...
Nah in his first post he mentioned he was trying to lock from the door switch. Funny enough. Mine does the same. Sitting in the car, on, key nearby obviously, my door switch lock button, when pressed, doesn't seem to have an effect on the lock switch. I guess I'd need someone outside the vehicle...
Thanks for the tip. If anyone else sees it, don't bother. "Assuming your wheels are in (A) condition or better, our offer to buy your wheels and caps is $50 each and we would pay for the shipping labels."
Detailing question for you all. For several days now I've been trying to air out the disco of the disgustingly sweet bubble gum smell from whatever cleaner the dealer used to shine this thing up. Anyone have any good tips on either masking that odor or a different cleaning product with an aroma...
I had to try the reset a couple of times myself to get the message to go away. I think what made the difference in my case was I left the tool connected for a good couple minutes after completing the process, then disconnected and shut down truck. At least that’s my theory. Service message...
Knocked out a few easy cosmetic mods to start the weekend. Something I’ve had success with is cleaning up the bumper by using plasti dip to cover the rear snap on reflectors. I prefer the look and yes, I’ve weighed any so-called safety concerns.
Also made some poor decisions last night by...
She showed up last night covered in 1200 miles of road grime, but it's all good. She cleaned up nice for some quick shots and everything appears to be in order. I don't want to jinx it but everything looks and sounds solid. Interior is fantastic. So, now the build begins. Anyone have any input...
