I guess you are saying the design of the shock absorbers within could be different but the rubber of the bladder on both would act the same. I could accept that; I do not know much about suspension design, but something is different in the assemblies I would hazard to say. -

I do not suppose anything we say has any merit, but I know money talks, (or the lack of it) - there is hope. My suggestion is they best just rename the new Defender to Sport ? and get the LR4 hood badge changed - they could save themselves or at least buy some time. -

I hope the wheels are no larger than 18" with maybe 34" or 36" rubber. For me, a rough road vehicle should have lots of rubber between the rim and the surface. I will get a Jag if I want a race car.
