It’s a little hard to tell given the angles, but yes, that looks like what I remember the rear crossover pipe looking like. And regardless, you clearly have a leak back there that needs some attention. -

Shot in the dark, but…Where was his key fob? IIRC, having it in or too near the vehicle makes the computers stay awake. -

How does one respond to these? Reach out to a nearby dealership with the NHTSA and Service Bulletins, show them screen shots of the codes that were going off, and ask them to replace the sensors? -

Hmmm…this one caught my eye: I wonder if that might be the source of repeated but intermittent fuel trim codes I keep getting? I've tried just about everything short of replacing all the O2 sensors, but with only 70k on the engine, it feels like the sensors shouldn't be worn out. -

Mine wasn't throwing codes consistently, either, after restricting performance from the coil failure/misfire issue. Not sure why. CEL light would come on, and the computer seemed to just shut that cylinder down entirely once a misfire on it was detected, but it would only occasionally throw codes. -

If the sound varies in frequency with engine RPM variation, the alternator is a good suspect. Otherwise…a capacitor in the amp module? IDK -

It's hard to picture what you're describing without a diagram or something, and I don't know what an LPF battery is. But if they hooked it up so that the positives of both batteries are connected to one another, then one is likely discharging through the other. That happens even with "identical"... -

LR4 Transmission Calibration (adaption clearing) after service
FWIW I was told by the transmission shop who rebuilt my ZF, and who seem to know a lot about that tranny in particular, that it wasn't necessary. The computer would adapt to the new values within about 500 miles. This was also with the Zip Kit newly installed. They told me to treat it a little... -

Hard to interpret the numbers without RPMs, etc. My basic understanding is that if you have a vacuum leak, your STFT should drop as you raise RPM and the proportion of leak to metered air reduces. So maybe try that? Otherwise I wonder if maybe the O2 sensors are sending the wrong data? -

If the fix didn't actually fix it and made the leak worse? Or if the previous leak somehow made an existing condition (rich mixture?) more tolerable on that bank? Or if the fix caused a barely-functional PCV valve to start malfunctioning? IDK -

“Codes” means when you pull a code, such as P0304, even with the GAP tool, the code itself is pointing to the appropriately-numbered cylinder. The GAP tool is just “reading the code” straight off the computer, not trying to interpret it. So P0304 would be #4, driver’s side front. “GAP” on the...
