All bullshit lol use whatever 5w20 or 0w20 for the SCV6 you'd like. Amsoil is top tier stuff IMHO, but i do my oil changes every 3-5k miles so i just use Pennzoil. If you do your changes regularly like 5k/6months then any benefit from amsoil vs lets say mobil 1 is null lol. People may argue it... -

open up the front passenger plastic fender wheel lining to gain access to the front valve block. Spray it down with soap water and check for leaks when its raising. I know you did work on the rear, but it could be a coincidence that your front valve block was on its way out and the repeated... -

Hey Parker, Although those products in my opinion are pretty great, I think you're way ahead of the game with your 5k oil change intervals and any gain you'd get from using those products are very very minimal. I'd save my money towards the next 5k oil change. Did you own the truck from new? -

I have no logical reasoning for you, but i think you should keep it. Once repairs get larger and out of hand then i'd maybe flirt with letting it go? Once its not a transmission or the engine skips a tooth...i'd keep it! 15-20 years down the line these vehicles will be hot!
