    Sway Bar Bushings

So i know this topic was touched on back in 2017 or so after doing a search on the forum, but since many of us now have LR4's with well over 100k miles by now i figure ill ask again. I need to replace my front sway bar bushings. Should i go with the oem bushings, orange polybush or these purple...

    LR4 Shock Longevity

I had a leak and the dealership said the most cost effective for them in parts/labor was to change the entire assembly.

    Brake pad sensor function

It trips as soon as the black rubber coating on the sensor is stripped away and that first strand of copper wire is broken. So no it doesn't need to we worn all the way through before it trips. It trips as soon as the first speck of wiring is exposed.

    Brake Pads

deff an upgrade over OEM, but i agree with Fuji up there. Better with drilled rotors.

    Brake Pads

I have stock silver wheels and i could attest that the yellowstuff brake dust is way less than the OEM pads. The OEM pads got the front wheels dark and dirty after about a week of driving. So far its been 3 weeks since my last wash and the wheels aren't that much dusty. Yellowstuff does have...

    CEL illuminated - multiple codes

I'm 95% sure it's an electrical issue. It's most likely a battery problem. Even though your battery is less than 12 months old to you, doesn't mean it's not way older. Maybe you have a dead cell, unless you have an AGM. Plus these rovers suck through batteries every 18-36 months. Opt for an H8...

Anyone try the ceramic brembo pads that rockauto offers?

I think Amazon must’ve had a glitch in their pricing or something but i got the front and rears yellowstuff ebc pads for $153 with shipping. Regularly they should be around $250 give or take. Anyways i installed them with the current rotors i had since they were in really good condition. Brake...

Anyone try the ceramic brembo pads that rockauto offers?

I was considering the brembo pads for the front and rear of my 2011. It says they’re premium ceramic and the front and rear are both under $40 a pair. Sounds a bit sketchy. Can anyone chime in?

Dented hood with elbow by accident.

So everyone, i decided to be a cheap ass and buy the $39 kit on amazon. The glue pulled off pieces of the paint on the hood of the rover. The dent did not move at all. Maybe it’s just my experience, but i do not recommend a dent puller kit off of amazon. I had a dent puller dude i found off of...

Dented hood with elbow by accident.

Interesting points everyone. I think ill purchase the kit since its so cheap on amazon. If it doesn't work then ill have a dent repair guy take a crack at it.

Dented hood with elbow by accident.

Hey everyone, i was closing my hood after topping off the windshield washer fluid. I closed the hood, but the driver side part didn't latch properly so i elbowed it down which was pretty stupid. Now i have a 2 inch dent/crease that is noticeable when looking at the paint from the side. I tried...

Cost to replace one front strut

I had it done through the dealer when i had the CPO warranty. $1250!!! That's incredible

Cost to replace one front strut

Part is about $350 from any reputable vendor online. Labor can be anywhere between $100-$200 dollars. So basically $600 give or take.

WHAT WOULD YOU DO!? BUYING MY FIRST LR4...

Ditto on the caps lol, but I'd personally go with the V8 over the V6. I have a 2011 with 77k miles and have not have any timing chain issues as of yet. Out of pocket expenses were front suspension bushings, three batteries, a few pairs of brakes and one rotor job, and a licence plate bulb...

    Very high idle, 2800 RPM

Not too sure if you could without the tool, i'm sure others on the forum could chime in. That being said, I've changed the factory stock H7 stock Varta battery that came with my MY2011 back in 2014 to a H8 Duralast AGM battery from autozone for a little under $200. I just popped the old one out...
