I broke the interior door latch clip, and BOTH window clips that hold the window into the motor assembly….i spent an hour along carefully epoxying that stuff. I doubt the door latch one will last. I just needed the truck back and running asap as the replacement latch is a few days out. -

You probably got one that was properly oiled. My k&n was saturated…literally. That experience killed my liking for them -

Drive away door locking works, but not for drivers door. Also drivers door lock does not move manually at all. It’s stuck in the open position. -

Yeah pretty much guessed it. There was a thread on this that @cperez started. I searched before making this thread, but didn’t actually find his thread until after posting. I’m hoping he can confirm its the actuator in my case. -

No one will be able to give you an answer on this forum honestly. That’s just a gamble. If you want to feel better about the purchase? Cmon it’s an LR4. Why not be prepared to spend $500-5k who knows. Thats the real question to ask yourself, do you have extra cash laying around for “repairs”. -
K&N air filter?
Yeppo, the MAF sensors on land rovers especially are very sensitive in my opinion. That air is calculated precisely. A slight mist of oil does make it go haywire. -

If you don’t care for the rear seats and can sacrifice a little trunk space, then by all means by any ready made boxes off of crutch field and disconnect that rear sub in the tailgate. -

Hmm i mean it covers it yes, but not an airtight seal. Its been about 5 years and I haven’t noticed any issues with the rear HVAC. Ill post pics soon.
