Off road tires fro LR4 with 18" wheels
Johnson Rod Tires These are the tires I run. Good Year MTR 275-65-18 32 inch diameter. I believe these to be the best off road tire. For the LR4 I would try to get 18 inch rims from the UK if possible or go to 20 inch for more options.- Johnson Rods

Alex: Each mode will be 2.5 inches higher and that includes the access mode. There are no issues with the extra height. 1,000's of vehicles have been modified this way. The main issue with the rubbing is the height and mostly in the rear. 31.5 will rub somewhat when the wheel articulates up...- Johnson Rods

Rod lifts Excellent discussion. A few observations on my part. Unless you need extra clearance for the type of trials you frequent or larger tires, the rod mod is not necessary. No more Goodyear 255/55 19 MT/R's
The Pirelli Scorpion ATR is the only AT tire available with that rim size that I can find. There are some other SUV tires on the chart but going to the 18" rim is the best long term choice. LR3 tire chart: http://johnsonrods.com- Johnson Rods

Has anyone tried 275-70-18's
LR3 Tires I don't recommend going to a 33" tire as its too big for the LR3. The 265/70/R18 is pushing it at 32.6 inches and will have some rubbing. Tire size chart: http://johnsonrods.com- Johnson Rods

I have to agree with the SilentArmors. A great tire on and off road. I just completed a new listing of available tires for 18, 19 and 20 inch rims. I use the MT/R with kevlar and they have been great. The noise is much less than other MTR's and more like some AT's that I have had. Check...- Johnson Rods
