This is the most atypical question for this forum. Everybody wants to lift theirs on here. Easiest way to do it is to get yourself a Gap Diagnostic IIDTool and program the suspension as low as possible (or as low as desired). You will lose all the benefits of the air suspension and drive on... -

I noticed that with Evoque loaners too. However they don't seem to do it all the time. Might want to check with LR directly... -
Pollen/Cabin Filter maintenance
It must be a LR4 thing. I had the sound from the vent fan, a weird screw noise from no idea where in the dashboard and a constant vibration sound as soon as I drove faster than 20mph coming from no idea where as well (in our 2010). It drove me crazy. One of the first thing my wife attempted... -

5,500 miles 90% highway, average mpg 17. It will easily go down here in Manhattan therefore I use the subway when not going out of the city ;) -

I'm thinking they're just a little under half. Also driving over the speed rating for long periods of time might have affected the tire compound which might have lead to the noisier ride... -

2012 LUX or 2012 HSE HD
Get the LUX. If anything just for the driver's seat functions: memory, inflatable bolsters, leather quality. I drive all over the country and did lots of off-roading without the HD package but it was in a 2010 so it had the low gear ratios... I think you'll be fine with the LUX. -
LR5 Release Updates?
Not sure about a LR5 but a Discovery maybe ;) I think there's a little bit of superstition when it comes down to 1st year vehicles... I wouldn't care.- AxelR

New tire reccomendations 2013 LR4?
I currently have the Michelin Diamaris in 20. Fantastic road tire, quiet and lots of grip. Probably won't last very long. However I would not attempt to take these off-road, even for light off-road duty. I had the Continentals in 19, as much as I wanted to hate them like everybody else they... -

As a student I worked for Mercedes-Benz back in Germany (both in Gaggenau and Rastatt). My assumption is that not many people on the forum I've worked in factories pressing parts, building engines, transmissions, axles, etc or in an assembly plant. Showoff Your LR4
Ah ah yes it's a good video. Lots of rock piling to make it through though ;) As far as me it broke when balancing on 2-3 wheels. Front driver was really high off the ground and then I heard the crack. Funny because after that I did some much more strenuous off-roading without ever touching... -

I used to have them on my 2010 however I broke one of them (rear passenger) doing light off-road (LR owners day in VT). These things are too rigid for off-road use. I took them off soon after. -

Ah yes it is. I moved to Albuquerque for year so I drive from Boston to ABQ and then a year later ABQ to Manhattan in the LR4 best ride ever. Thought I'd sell the car but ended up using it regularly to get out of town. -
