Brake Controller Installation Question
I had my local RV dealer install my brake controller as well. It has worked great, and I was able to pick the location of the brake controller box before they actually installed it. -
Fuel Economy Question...Is This True?
You know, the salesman that sold both of my Discoveries to me mentioned that I should drive around town in 3 all the time. I just kind of shrugged it off and have never tried it. Maybe I will and see if there is any difference in the gas mileage... -
Dealer installed DVD Shortage?
My custom screen is 10.4 inches, and it fits between the front and rear sunroofs (picture attached). Just keep in mind though that this is in a 2004 Discovery - I have no idea about space limitations in the LR3. -

Lifting an RR
Lots of people have succesfully gone through the conversion... That said, you may be able to install some different airbag height sensor arms, which would force the RR into "thinking" it needs to raise itself - effectively lifting itself. I know that DiscoMike has done this with his...- tmiller1

Dealer installed DVD Shortage?
For what its worth, when I purchased my 2004 Discovery I wanted the DVD player. To my dismay (at the time anyway), the dealers in my area had all decided to order the 2004 Discovery's without the DVD player, since they all thought it simply sucked. Granted, this was last year's LR model... -
Expedition Roof Rack Questions...
I am not sure if the sunroof is still operable, but I would assume that it is since the Expedition Roof Racks for the Discovery allowed the sunroofs to still work (depending on the model of roof rack you purchased). As for the bottom of the rack, it is between 0.5 inch and 1 inch tubes that form... -

Dvd Player for a Disco I
The price was for both the unit (and all parts needed) and the install. You are right, I have to climb in the back to watch a DVD... But, I do have the SE7 so there are more seats available to watch it from.
