Brake Controller Installation Question

Has anyone had any experience with having a bake controller (the module for controlling electric brakes on an RV) installed? I have an '04 Disco and just had the dealer install the factory wiring harness. Any advice?????

I had my local RV dealer install my brake controller as well. It has worked great, and I was able to pick the location of the brake controller box before they actually installed it.

What kind of advice were you looking for?

(I also have a 2004 Discovery)...

I actually already purchased the unit from the RV dealer. I was going to have them install it but they told me the last LR they tried to install one on ended up going out on a flat bed. Needless to say, I passed on having them give it a shot. I purchased the Tekonsha Voyager #9030. The LR dealer is going to install next week. I have already had them install the factory wiring harness. I also purchased the U.S. round pin adapter to have them swap out in place of the European plug.

Is there a better brake control unit I should be looking at. I can still exchange this one if there is something better out there.
