Off Road Paint Protection....
I made mine. I bought a roll and cut it out for the pannels. I think it was 30mill but I don't remember. They will NOT fly off! I have driven 45miles on the freeway 75-90mph and they did not fly off. You tape the edges down. -
Access Mode at 55MPH?
Ya you can drive 55 in access height just make the height sensor rods longer :) -

Warranty coverage issues
That is odd I bought my LR3 with 30k on it and they replaced my airbag cover, and my ash tray, it broke and would not stay in, they took care of that as well as replaced my steering wheel. -

I think it is a great back up air option. I would be interested in running straight into a hose and running that to a place under the hood so I could just pop the hood and hook it up then I never have to worry about it getting crudded up over time with salt road grime and trail junk. -

Tire Advice
I have the cooper zeon and like them alot, they are about as big as you can go without any real issues, you can get the gy silent armors in a smaller size like a 260-60 and will have better on road manners and are rated as a snow tire. hankook makes a dynapro at 10 which may be a nice choice... -

If you are spending time on the sand you want to stay on top so a wider tire will be better that is why we air down so far 8-12psi in the sand.
