Todd - thanks for the invisible TB picture. Nice. There is a TSB for the "lag" when coming from a rolling (Hollywood/California) stop. It's a Transmission code patch that addresses the issue. Has the Tech considered the fuel injectors at all? Cracked, dirty or split o-rings?- blackforestham

Thanks for the heads-up on the bolt size Ryan. I'm not sure that I understand the grade rating on metric bolts though?? I'll talk to my specialty bolt guy and get the scoop. I'd like to upgrade the rating if possible.- blackforestham

Lift Kit Anyone?
6.5" is a world away from a 2" lift. None of the issues mentioned come into play. The LR3/LR4 is engineered to operate just fine with a 2" lift. The CV angles are only slightly steeper than stock. Better than nothing, I guess?? The major drawbacks are two things - 1. Inadequate load ratings for a Land Rover (3k, 4k, 6k) 2. Failures due to side-hill pulls. Most recoveries are some sort of side hill or off camber situation. Few recoveries happen directly in front of or directly behind.- blackforestham

06 SE V8 51K - no probs I chased the back seat rattle for 6 months. The seat heater wiring loom was loose and rattled on the underside of the seat frame. You should be covered under factory warranty up to 50k. Get it repaired now! There is a software update which remedies most Trans related issues. LR3 'churping' sound coming from dash
After 6 months of squeaking, I was finally able to pinpoint my sounds. (1) Graphite on the catch mechanism of the glove box. (2) Zip-Ties on the second row seat warmer wiring looms.
