    Rear diff is damp

Closest dealer is 2.5 hours away. Guess it might be a good time to try the shop that always has Land Rovers on the lot...seems to be the only place in town that knows them.

    Rear diff is damp

More: Shit-tastic pics I know, but here are a few observations I made. 1. The diff isn't too "oily", but as shown the intermediate shafts are. 2. The crossmember in front of the spare tire was damp. 3. Some wires/hoses above the diff were damp 4. The "oily" substance seemed more like...

    Rear diff is damp

Ok....will do. Where is the vent/breather on it? I'd assume it's up a bit. Is it still safe to drive for another week or two until I have time to look into it? Replacing upper control arms/ball joints on the Jeep this weekend if the parts come on time.

    Hitch Receiver Removal.... (different question)

I'd try shooting some PB blaster into 2 places....key hole and then on the bottom of it there's a little pin hole. If that doesn't work, I'd think about breaking it off. That green thingy is about $15 and is easy to replace...I've done it.

    Rear diff is damp

When I was repainting the undercarriage on my LR3, I noticed the rear diff was damp. The damp area went about halfway up the visable part of it. Could it be the pinion seal? Or what else could it be? Thanks

Protecting leather seats from child's car seat

When my kids were little I used to put towels (a few folded upon them selves) under the seats. Seemed to work, but that was way before the LR3.

    Suspension Fault

Can you check to see if the blower/dryer TSB was one? Also, doesn't your LR3 have the 7 pin and 4 pin connectors behind the removable cover on the bumper? Just wondering.

    Need Floor Mats!

I love the Huskys in my Jeep, no comparison to a universal one. Much safer. I have the OE rubber ones in my LR3 which are great too.

If you're doing it by hand, it'll be really tough to, but possible.

    best "touch-up" paint for scratch?

Ultimate Compound by Meguires is awesome. If you can feel it with your finger nail, buffing won't eliminate it.
