I think the 05 and 06 letters are darker and the coating comes off, making them darker. I looked at a lot of 05s and 06s and all the letters were peeling. Check brake pad error
You won't be able to fit a new sensor if the brakes aren't new. So I'd just take the old sensor, cut it and there are two wires in it, join them together. -

Finally changed the LR3 oil myself. Much easier than I expected.
I put mine in off road height and put jack stands under it should the air suspension fail or level. Tried the door thing, mine just keeps freaking out, haha. :D -

Air Strut Question and Comment
Does anyone make custom upper control arms for these? I have a set on my lifted Jeep Liberty and they are designed to eliminate coil contact (didn't have any, but some people did and these arms worked). Houm, are you running the rods? Just wondering if some custom UCAs would be a solution. -

Interesting that they are both tranny related. That switch one I'd think should be easier to sort out, just get a new neutral switch I think. The TCM one is interesting... http://engine-codes.com/u0101.html Is their any signs of mice anywhere that could have chewed wires? -

Are you sure it's the diff (have you checked CV joints for rips in boots/grease leaked out)? Any other noises? -

Why? It's a heavy ass vehicle...what is expected? That coupled with that most of us run aggressive tires that are shorter in life. I don't agree with a suit. I get 40k out of a set. -

Rear floor mat retainer or hook
Mine has the retainer hooks in the back...the floor mat part is missing but the floor part is there. Strange that yours doesn't have the floor ones. What trim is it? Are the mats factory fitted? -

No prob, glad to help. For sure keep looking at the grease, maybe even try putting some in with a grease gun too. -

Is it making any noise yet? Like a clunking when going over bumps? It is a safety hazard, as water could get in and separate the joint then the wheel would fall off. But if it's not clunking yet, you have a bit of time I think. Definitely get fixed before winter/first snow. As for cost, luckily... -

LR3 Fault Light
Did you use the correct value of fuse? Maybe it's a bad fuse, try another maybe? My passenger side seat blew a fuse a few years ago and I replaced it, been fine since. -

Hot pipes inside rear driver-side storage compartment
One spot that seems ideal to me is the foot space under the 3rd row when they are folded down. Completely covered. Just get a couple bins to hold things and since the the 3rd row completely covers the top, they will stay secured. But if you use the 3rd row...this wouldn't work I guess. z Sorry... -

I would replace the rotors. That way they won't mess up the pads when they wear more. And the performance will be better. -

Bad rear fuel level sensor. Going to get both replaced and the new seal. $500 total. Seems fair. -
