New LR4 owner with a couple questions
I have the side steps (installed by dealer) and they are great. My wife loves them and uses them even at access hight. She is 5'7". I think they also look great. No recommended if you will do heavy duty off roading. If you're into off roading, you should get the rock sliders with steps like... -

I did not get one in the 2010 I had and neither in the 2011 I currently have. They either forgot it in there or they threw it in when you made the deal. -

upload ipod question
I thought the 2012 has blue tooth audio. So there is no need to connect. You can do it wirelessly. The songs on the iPod are copy righted and cannot be saved on the LR hard drive. -

Daytime Running Lights !!!!!!
I had the DRLs activated in my 2010 for a few weeks then I deactivated them bc it was took much light and a waste of the HID bulbs having them on all the time. Like David said, if I want a DRL effect I turn the accent lights on. The LED DRLs LR sells is a MAJOR rip off as far as I am concerned. -

Funny, We have the new odyssey also. Since you have the van, go for the LR4. You will not regret it. I know I didn't. I opted out of the rear entertainment package and got a couple of iPads for the kids. In the odyssey I have the Wide screen RES, but it is seldom used. iPads are the way... -

2010 vs 2011
With 2010 LUX you get the active headlight system where the headlights turn in the direction you turn the wheels. in 2011 you need the vision assist package in order to get that. The vision assist package also includes the surround camera system, auto high beam, tow assit, and a better rear... -

Prosepective owner...need some advice!!
I also have 3 kids, and I LOVE my LR4. A word of caution. The space is sparse in the LR4 esp with rear facing car seats. I am 6'1" and cannot fit in the LR4 if there is a rear facing car seat behind me. There is NO cargo space or space for your dog with the third row seat up. If you are... -
