Tap the screen twice in rapid succession. A POI button will appear on the screen. Navigate it and you will be offered an option to cancel (delete)POI's. You can also use the voice commands to cancel them- read the manual. -

I guess that's a good point, but it protects well for other uses, like standing on the tailgate to load bikes on the roof rack or for using the 'gate as a camping kitchen. My dog is too old to jump up anyway- so he rides on a towel spread over the 2nd row seat. -

Terrrain Response - Amazing
Try using the Hill Descent in Snow/Grass/ Gravel mode- I've found it works great on snowy downhills where there is a risk of being unable to stop. It must use the transmission gearing together with the antilock brakes to slow the truck from the way it behaves for me.. -
